The sad thing is that FUD works. By addressing our most primal fears for our safety, the welfare of our children, and the threat to our wealth political parties abuse the public.

Someone asked me if I knew that the linked site was a spoof. Answer: Yes. I'm not interested in offending any particular political party, but since all parties participate in this kind of FUD, its useful to use a spoof to generate a point.
